Last week, The Henry Project teamed up with our incredible friends at Fierce Calm to host a beautiful evening at Unbroken, the National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv. 💙💛
For many, Unbroken is more than just a rehab center — it’s a symbol of resilience. Based in Lviv, it offers physical, psychological, and social rehabilitation to both civilians and veterans affected by the war.
The center’s facilities are state‑of‑the‑art, with robotics, exoskeletons, and a full rehabilitation ecosystem including a pool, occupational therapy apartments, and even a simulated “store” to help patients rebuild daily life.

At our event, we gathered with patients, their families, and friends on Unbroken’s rooftop — an absolutely special place for connection. We made varenyky together, enjoyed live music, and shared delicious food. The atmosphere was full of warmth, community, and hope
We were especially honored to be joined by the Mayor of Lviv and his wife, who celebrated with us and underscored how powerful these moments of healing and unity are for the entire city.
Even as Russia’s attacks continue almost daily, evenings like this remind us that the Ukrainian spirit is unbreakable. The people here refuse to be defined by their trauma. Instead, they choose to heal, create, and celebrate life — together.

Thank you to Fierce Calm for walking this journey with us. To all of our supporters — your belief in Ukraine’s recovery makes these moments possible. Let’s keep standing with Unbroken, in solidarity and in hope. 💙💛
